Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how EricBatchler.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from this site.

Who we are

EricBatchler.com is the author and coaching website of Eric Batchler, including the Capacity book series, CCS Stories, and related coaching services and merchandise. You can reach us using the contact information at the bottom of this policy.

What personal information we collect and why

Contact forms

When you use a contact or newsletter signup form on this site, we collect the information you submit, such as your name and email address, and any message you send us. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry or, if you’ve opted in, to send you occasional updates. We do not sell or rent this information to third parties.

Orders and purchases

When you purchase a product directly from this site, we collect information necessary to process your order, including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment details. We use this information to:

  • Send you information about your account and order
  • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Set up your account for our store, if you choose to create one
  • Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
  • Improve our store offerings
  • Fulfill and ship your order, including through our print-on-demand manufacturing partners (see “Order fulfillment partners” below)

We generally store this information for as long as needed to fulfill the order and for our accounting and legal record-keeping purposes.

Payment processing

Payments made directly through this site are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers. When you provide payment information at checkout, it is transmitted directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection. Stripe’s use of your personal information is governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy.

Order fulfillment partners

Many products on this site are made to order through third-party print-on-demand manufacturing and fulfillment partners, which may include Printful and Lulu. To fulfill and ship your order, we share the information necessary to do so — such as your name, shipping address, and the items you ordered — with these partners. Each of these partners processes that information under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them:

Some books featured on this site are sold through third-party retailers such as Amazon rather than through our own checkout. Purchases made on those platforms are governed entirely by that retailer’s own privacy policy, not this one — we do not receive or process your payment or order information for those purchases.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site, to help us understand how visitors use our site, and to support basic site functionality. If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for your convenience the next time you comment. These cookies will last for one year. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not function properly without them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) to help us understand how visitors use our site, such as which pages are viewed most often. This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you. You can learn more about how Google uses this data at Google’s Privacy & Terms site, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Embedded content from other websites

Pages on this site may include embedded content (such as videos or images). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if you had visited the other website directly, and those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content.

Who we share your data with

We share information with third parties who help us provide our services to you, including our payment processor (Stripe), our print-on-demand manufacturing and shipping partners (which may include Printful and Lulu), our email and hosting providers, and analytics providers (Google). We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically. For users who register on our site, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. For order and purchase information, we retain records for as long as needed to fulfill your order and to comply with our accounting, tax, and legal obligations.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you, except where we’re legally required to keep it (for example, order and tax records). To make either request, contact us using the information below.

How we protect your data

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including the use of a payment processor (Stripe) that is PCI-DSS compliant, encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL) throughout the site, and access controls limiting who on our team can view order and customer information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments and order information may be checked through an automated spam or fraud detection service. Your data may be processed and stored by our hosting provider and by the third-party services described above, some of which may be located outside your country of residence.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
